 Avoid placing contents directly on the floor. Instead, use a pallet or strips of wood underneath boxes to allow for proper air circulation. This helps prevent moisture buildup and keeps your items in optimal condition while stored. 

 Fold your clothes neatly to save space, and store them in dressers to maximize organization. For hanging items, consider using wardrobe boxes to keep your clothing wrinkle-free and easily accessible. 

 Absolutely NO perishable or non-perishable food items are permitted in storage units. Storing food can attract rodents and pests, which can compromise the safety and cleanliness of the facility.

 To protect your items from moisture, always place boxes on pallets or skids to allow for proper air circulation. While climate control is recommended for sensitive items, please note that climate-controlled units are not available at this time. 

 Before storing metal tools and sports equipment, be sure to clean them thoroughly. Wipe them down with a rag soaked in a few drops of machine oil to prevent rust and keep them in good condition.

 Avoid wrapping mattresses in plastic as this can trap moisture. Instead, wrap your mattress in cotton sheets or blankets for protection. Be sure to keep it off the floor to allow for proper air circulation and prevent any moisture buildup. 

 To avoid the buildup of gaseous fumes, always store your car with a full gas tank. This helps prevent condensation inside the tank and keeps your vehicle in better condition during storage. 

 Certain items must be stored in a climate-controlled unit for optimal protection. However, please note that climate-controlled units are not available at this time. 

 Please take precious items such as jewelry, financial or legal papers, photos, coins, and other valuables with you. For security reasons, these items should not be stored in the facility. 

Be sure to individually wrap all dishes and use newsprint to fill any unused space in boxes. This will help minimize the risk of breakage and keep your items safe during storage. 

 Place frequently used items near the door for easy access, and create a clear walkway to the back of the unit. Keep items at least a foot away from the door to allow for easy opening and closing. For better organization, consider using free-standing shelves to maximize storage efficiency and keep everything neatly arranged. 

 If your unit is not climate-controlled, store soft goods like clothing and linens in plastic containers to protect them from moisture and keep them in good condition.
